This is one of the beaches I had in my mind’s eye as I wrote my new story Josette’s Secret. The beach is off the coast of Western France. The year is 1949, some years after the Second World War. In the story, the pine trees get a mention. See how children, using their de-coding ability, are able to prove that malicious rumours were unfounded and it is time the truth is revealed. Josette’s Secret is due to be published in October this year, 2027.
